Cyber Brews began in 2018 as a small, informal meetup for cybersecurity professionals—a space to reconnect, share experiences, and build community. What started with just 10 attendees quickly grew into a sought-after gathering, with events now drawing professionals from across government, industry, and the defense ecosystem.

Founder Karen Williams recognized a deeper need—not just for connection, but for meaningful engagement, practical learning, and collaboration across organizations. Cyber Brews evolved beyond networking into a platform for bringing people, ideas, and opportunities together.
