Cyber Brews began in 2018 as a casual meet-up among cybersecurity professionals, growing from 10 attendees to an average of 60 per event in recent years. Our biggest networking event in 2024 had over 100 attendees. What started as a way to reconnect over drinks quickly evolved into a powerful networking platform—helping professionals find jobs, fostering mentorship, and strengthening industry ties. Recognizing the value of both education and connection, founder Karen Williams expanded Cyber Brews into a training and consulting business, offering hands-on cybersecurity education alongside premier networking events. Now a certified Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Cyber Brews not only delivers specialized training but also partners with vendors to host impactful industry events, bridging the gap between professionals and opportunities.
