KAREN WILLIAMS

Karen Williams is the Founder and CEO of Cyber Brews LLC and a part-time instructor at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) for the College of Business (COB) teaching Cybersecurity Management and Information System Management & Strategy. Mrs. Williams has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) instructor since 2016. She has over 20 years of experience with 18 years providing cybersecurity engineering and management expertise to the Department of Defense (DoD) as a contractor. She has served on several Board of Directors and committees for cyber professional development such as WiCyS, ISACA, and ISSA. Mrs. Williams has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from UAH, a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of information Systems (MIS) from UAH and completed an Information Assurance certificate program at UAH. She has been named “6 Women to Watch in Huntsville’s Tech Scene” by the Bama Buzz and “Top 22 in ‘22 Women in Tech in Alabama” by Business Alabama Magazine.
