Cyber Savvy Workshop

Join us for a workshop to learn how to build cyber savvy briefings for senior executives. Often cybersecurity and IT professionals speak a very technical language that does not translate well to executive leadership. This workshop will show you how to turn technical cyber reports  into successful cyber savvy briefings to speak the language of executives. 

About the speaker:

Karen Williams is the CEO of Cyber Brews LLC and a part-time instructor for the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).  Mrs. Williams has been a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) instructor since 2016. She has over 20 years of experience with 17 years providing cybersecurity engineering and management expertise to the Department of Defense (DoD) as a contractor. She has served on several Board of Directors and committees for cyber professional development such as Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS), ISACA and ISSA. Mrs. Williams has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts from the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH), a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management of information Systems (MIS) from UAH and completed an Information Assurance certificate program at UAH. She has been named “6 Women to Watch in Huntsville’s Tech Scene” by the Bama Buzz and “Top 22 in ‘22 Women in Tech in Alabama” by Business Alabama Magazine.
