What is the CMMC in Practice Forum?


The CMMC in Practice Forum is a one-day, practitioner-led event designed to help organizations across the Defense Industrial Base move from understanding CMMC requirements to real-world implementation. Through keynote presentations, expert panels, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities, attendees will gain practical guidance they can immediately apply within their organizations.

The Embassy Suites is conveniently connected to the Von Braun Center, making it easy to participate in both the CMMC in Practice Forum and National Cyber Summit activities during Huntsville Cyber Week.

What time does the event begin?


Registration opens at 8:00 a.m.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive early to:

  • Check in

  • Receive their event badge, lanyard, and attendee bag

  • Enjoy the Networking Breakfast

  • Visit sponsor exhibits before sessions begin

Can I transfer my registration?


Yes. If you are unable to attend, registrations may be transferred to another individual. Please contact us at information@cyber-brews.com prior to the event so we can update attendee information.


Parking & Hotel


Where can I park?


The Embassy Suites offers several convenient parking options.

  • Embassy Suites Parking

  • Self-parking in the attached parking garage and surface lot (approximately $20 per night)

  • Covered and secured parking

  • In/out privileges included

  • EV charging available on-site or nearby

  • Valet parking available

 

Additional nearby options include:

  • City parking garages with daily rates starting around $5 per day

  • Metered street parking (typically limited to two-hour parking)

National Cyber Summit


Is this event part of the National Cyber Summit?


The CMMC in Practice Forum is an independent event held during Huntsville Cyber Week.


Its location adjacent to the Von Braun Center allows attendees to conveniently participate in both the Forum and National Cyber Summit activities throughout the week.


Is there a networking event after the forum?


Yes!
Join us for the Cyber Brews National Cyber Summit Kickoff Networking Event from 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. on September 22 at The Blind Tiger (113 Clinton Avenue, Huntsville, AL). 


This evening reception provides attendees, speakers, sponsors, and cybersecurity professionals from across the country an opportunity to connect before the National Cyber Summit officially begins.


What should I wear?


Business casual or business professional attire is recommended. Conference rooms are often cool, so you may wish to bring a light jacket or sweater. Comfortable shoes are also recommended, as you'll have plenty of opportunities to network throughout the day.
